Happy Birthday to you, Everett...

Hey, Evvy. You would have been 41 years young today! Yes, that was me, sending you love and good thoughts over the years since you've gone. I'm still unpacking boxes of stuff here, and continuously find photos of you. I know, even after being in this cool old house for nearly 3 whole years now, I still have stuff to unpack... which will take me the rest of my life, no doubt! Remember how I used to get mad at you for being such a disorganized pack rat? Well now it's me who is the pack rat.

Here is another old pic from times gone by. It was taken when you and I drove up to Lake Tahoe for my cousin Stacy's wedding in 1994. I remember going out onto the shores of the lake around midnight, and drinking rum with you as we looked up at the starry sky. I often think of you still whenever I gaze at the heavens.
